PanARMENIAN.Net - Editor-in-Chief and Director of totalfootball.am Hayk Petrosyan said that Ashot Arushanyan submitted a report to the police, and the case against Andreasyan is investigated by Shahumyan police station of Yerevan.

“Policemen were on the site immediately after the incident. Our photojournalist was taking pictures of Andreasyan at a distance of 10-12m, what did not hinder his work,” Petrosyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

During a break of Ararat-Puinik match of Armenian championship 6th round on April 23, Ararat coach Arkady Andreasyan and several more people who were with him beat severely a 19-year-old photojournalist of totalfootball.am website Ashot Arushanyan.

Andreasyan attacked Arushanyan and demanded that the latter erase some photos of him.The photojournalist was taken to hospital with concussion of the brain and maxillofacial trauma. A criminal case was initiated.

Meanwhile, fans of Ararat FC demand Andreasyan’s resignation due to the club’s current bad results. They also believe that Ararat coach discredits the football club with a similar behavior.
