PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey is far from European standards, has not decided its attitude towards its past, specifically, the Armenian Genocide of 1915, Chairman of the Council of Evangelic Church of Germany Wolfgang Haber told "Tageszeitung" German newspaper. At that he said he was dissatisfied with the stand of the German Government, which has agreed to Turkey's membership in the European Union. "I cannot perceive why we should discuss the issue, if official Ankara does not fulfill EU conditions," W. Haber said.
