ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT HEAD AND GEORGIAN AMBASSADOR DISCUSSED OPENING RAIL COMMUNICATION VIA ABKHAZIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - The topic of resumption of rail communication via Abkhazia was discussed at a meeting of chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Armen Khachatrian with Georgian ambassador to Armenia Nikoloz Nikolozishvili today. In the speaker's words, opening of the railway via Abkhazia would become a good stimulus for the development of the Armenian economy. In the course of the meeting the important role of interstate transport communications in promoting bilateral Armenian-Georgian cooperation was noted. The meeting participants also discussed issues of developing inter-parliamentary ties, realization of joint economic programs, forming joint enterprises.
