ARMENIAN AND AZERI FMs MET

PanARMENIAN.Net - The meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Vardan Oskanian and Elmar Mamedyarov with the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs took place in Prague yesterday. The parties also held separate meetings with the Co-Chairs. In the interview with RFE/RL Vardan Oskanian stated that is it still early to speak of a "break" in the negotiation process in 2005 though the work is being carried out in this direction. In his words, the talks are advancing slowly. When commenting on the outcomes of the talks to a Caucasian Knot reporter, head of the Azeri Foreign Ministry press service Metin Mirza stated that though the positions of the parties underwent no changes a little rapprochement can be observed.
