EXHIBIT ON ARMENIAN GENOCIDE TO OPEN IN VORONEZH MARCH 28

PanARMENIAN.Net - Newborn Armenia exhibition devoted to the 90-th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey in 1915-23 will open in the main building of Voronezh State University, PanARMENIAN.Net ork got informed from the Armenian Youth Center of Voronezh city. The exhibition is composed of 4 sections - the history of ancient and medieval Armenia, the Armenian Genocide and the Russian society, the Armenian-Russian relations and Armenia today. Many valuable items - rare books, a collection of periodicals of the Armenian Diaspora, a copy of Aivazovsky's picture Noah descends from Ararat - are presented. Among the photos picturing Armenia - from stone observatories to newest symbols - special attention is paid to the materials on the Genocide - photo documents, circular copies, facts of demolition of architectural monuments of Western Armenia. Region officials, politicians, professors and students of the university, members of the Armenian community and the Armenian Youth Committee of Voronezh, which has organized the exhibition, will take part in the opening of the exhibition that will last about a month.
