NKR FM REFUTED CE SECRETARY GENERAL WORDS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh was never a part of independent Azerbaijan, consequently the Nagorno Karabakh Republic is not an essential of Azerbaijan, NKR Foreign Minister Arman Melikyan stated when commenting on the statement by Council of Europe Secretary General Terry Davis, who said that Karabakh is "an essential of Azerbaijan". According to Melikian, Terry Davis has been mislead and now is himself misleading the international community. "Once Nagorno Karabakh was a part of Soviet State. With the collapse of the USSR it declared of its independence in strict correspondence with the international norms. As for the international recognition of the NKR, I am firmly convinced that it is the issue of time", the NKR FM stated.
