AZERBAIJANI REPRESENTATIVE ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF UN GA COMMITTEE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani permanent representative in the UN Yashar Aliyev has been elected Chairman of the UN General Assembly Special Committee on Decolonisation. The structure is included in 6 UN GA committees dealing with the implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples, use of outer space for peaceful purposes and conduction of peacekeeping operations in conflict zones. Yashar Aliyev will preside over the Committee during the 60-th Session of the UN GA, reported Day.az.
