EP Censures Baku for Suppressing Opposition

PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Parliament has censured Azeri authorities for suppression of opposition actions on the eve of the parliamentary election scheduled November 6. The EP urged Baku to respect the freedom of assembly and provide for free and fair election. Opposition holds the authorities intend to gerrymander election returns in Azerbaijan, reported the Yerkir newspaper.
