Azeri Opposition Going to Launch Termless Rallies

PanARMENIAN.Net - From November 18 the Azerbaijani opposition will launch termless rallies with a demand to nullify the outcomes of the parliamentary election, Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijani Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloglu stated when addressing the rally initiated by the opposition Democratic Front. Head of the Azaldyg bloc headquarters Panakh Huseyn stated, "It's high time for making decisions." Chairman of Musavat opposition party Isa Gambar promised that the rallies will cover whole Azerbaijan and called President Aliyev to negotiations.



Leader of the National Front Ali Kerimli stated that the number of the rally participants will increase. "The struggle will not be limited to several rallies. We will fight till the victory," he added. Panakh Huseyn in his turn stated that the opposition candidates won two thirds of the seats in the parliament. To remind, according to official data ruling party Yeni Azerbaijan received the majority of mandates. The rally was authorized by the leadership. The police say about 4.5 thousand people took part in it, however the opposition assures the number reached 80-100 thousand.
