UNISEF to Increase Assistance to South Caucasus

PanARMENIAN.Net - The UNISEF has launched a new campaign to collect means to assist children in 29 countries of the world. The UNISEF new campaign provides for collecting $805 million in 2006 and pays special attention to regions like South Caucasus and Sudan. The UNICEF expects to spend third of the money in Sudan, where the civil war continues, as well as to increase assistance to Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan, reported Turkish media.
