S. Ohanyan: Karabakh Should Be Party of Talks

Otherwise when certain agreements are made, it will be necessary to start discussion with the Karabakh party from the beginning, head of the NKR MOD Seyran Ohanyan told journalists in Stepanakert. In his words, if Azerbaijan wants to solve the issue by force, the Karabakh party is able to organize the defense, counterattack and preventive strikes. At that Ohanyan underscored that Nagorno Karabakh successively comes for peace settlement of the issue. «Nagorno Karabakh has de facto decided its affair, however it should have been fixed during talks,» Ohanyan said. The Karabakh movement, which began 18 years ago and was followed by a national liberation struggle of the Artsakh people, resulted in establishing the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, he remarked, reported IA Regnum.
