Closing Armenian NPP Impossible without Equivalent Alternative

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia cannot close the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant, unless it has an equivalent alternative, Armenian Premier Andranik Margaryan stated in an interview with the Azg online newspaper. In his words, the building of a new NPP will demand much financial resources that Armenia does not possess now. «Armenia plans building a second NPP in its territory. Negotiations with international organizations interested are held over the issue at present,» the head of the Armenian Government said.
