Turkish FM: Ankara Ready to Participate in Karabakh Talks

PanARMENIAN.Net - "A number of plans and decisions to support Azerbaijan in the Karabakh issue will be taken upon completion of the sitting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers," Turkish FM Abdullah Gul stated. Besides, he remarked that the Nagorno Karabakh conflict should be settled peacefully what will create serious chances for the establishment of cooperation between Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia.



The Turkish FM also voiced support to the negotiations held by the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents. "Turkey supports the talks held in order to stop occupation," Gul told reporters. He said Turkey is ready to take part in the talks if this can have a positive impact on the process. "Turkey is ready to its utmost and endorses measures that promote the settlement of the conflict," Gul remarked.
