Belarusian and Armenian Companies Ordered to Activate TradeOctober 23, 2006 - 15:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The governments of Armenia and Belarus are ready to take measures essential for activation of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, RA Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan told a press conference upon completion of talks with Belarusian Premier Sergey Sidorsky, who is in Yerevan on a formal visit. According to the Armenian PM the most important task of the governments is to create an atmosphere for mutually beneficial cooperation of business circles. He informed that the members of bilateral committee for trade and economic cooperation were ordered to fulfill tasks set by the Armenian and Belarusian Presidents. For his part the Belarusian government head expressed satisfaction with the negotiations held with the Armenian side. Sergey Sidorsky gave a positive estimate to the 37% growth of commodity turnover. However, this index doesn't reflect the real possibilities of the sides.
