ArmenTel Director General Confirmed VympelCom Plenipotentiary

PanARMENIAN.Net - ArmenTel Director General confirmed the appointment of Oleg Bliznyuk as VympelCom's Plenipotentiary. Bliznyuk told reporters that the committee of directors considered the priorities of the company's activities for 2007. At that he refrained from going into detail and said the information will be furnished within next 2 weeks, reports the RosBusinessConsulting.



ArmenTel Telecommunication Company holds the monopoly of the PSTN and Internet. On November 12, 2006 Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE) sealed a bargain on selling 90% stock package to VympelCom Russian company (Beeline trademark). The rest 10% of the stocks belong to the Armenian government.
