Jaap de Hoop Scheffer: Effective cooperation between Armenia and NATO

PanARMENIAN.Net - NATO Sec. Gen. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer congratulated Serzh Sargsyan on his appointment as RA Prime Minister. "Congratulating You on your appointment as RA Prime Minister, I'd like to express my gratitude for your productive activity in the posts of Defense Minister and Secretary of Security Council. You successfully coordinated the process of defense reforms in the framework of Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP). An effective cooperation is being carried out between Armenia and NATO, the evidence of which is Armenian peacekeeping mission in Kosovo, as well the process of defense reforms in the IPAP framework." The NATO Sec. Gen. is sure that active participation in developing cooperation between Armenia and NATO will be continued henceforth, when Serzh Sargsyan occupies the post of Prime Minister.



Ukrainian Premier Viktor Yanukovich also congratulated Serzh Sargsyan. In his message he says that trade-economic mutually beneficial ties will benefit bilateral relations between Ukraine and Armenia, the RA Press Office reports.
