Bernard Fassier: Sides of Karabakh conflict were offered alternative ways for settling the problem

PanARMENIAN.Net - Talks between Armenian President Robert Kocharian and his Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliev in St. Petersburg were serious, "however no agreements were reached," Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian stated. He said, the negotiation process will be continued on the level of foreign ministers. At the same time the Armenian FM added, "it is difficult to say if one more meeting between Kocharian and Aliev is possible till the end of the year".



In his part OSCE Minsk Group French Co-Chair Bernard Fassier stated, the sides of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict were offered new, alternative ways for settling the problem, and the conflicting parties must still discuss those proposals. "The talks will be continued," he noticed, Armenian Public Radio reports.
