Azeri soldier returned to homeland

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today the Karabakhi side conveyed Azeri soldier Ashraf Jafarov, captured in June when crossing the Karabakh border, to Azerbaijan.



As reported by the NKR state commission on war prisoners and missing, the NKR leadership is hopeful that Baku will release two Armenians kept in Azeri custody for long time.



APA reports that the procedure took place at the contact line in the environs of Gervend settlement at Khachinchay river.



Ashraf Jafarov, 22, native of Garachuhur settlement of Suranhali region of Azerbaijan, was captured by NKR soldiers on 30 June 2007.
