UNION OF ARMENIANS OF RUSSIA CHAIRMAN INITIATED UNION OF ARMENIANS OF WORLD

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamian has come out with an initiative of creating the biggest all-Armenian organization "Union of Armenians of the World." As Abrahamian told "Arminfo" agency, the new organization will unite the representatives of business circles of the Armenian diaspora of the world to intensify the process of solving the numerous urgent problems of Armenia. "Armenia will achieve a good outlook in any case, but more time would be necessary if trying to do without the contribution of such organization. And taking into consideration the present economic situation in the country, waste of time is just undesirable," - the Union chairman stated. In his words, much work is done in this regard and many Armenian businessmen from various countries of the world not only welcome the initiative, but also express readiness to join the new global organization. Representations of the Union of Armenians of Russia now operate in 214 countries of the world, and Abrahamian considers that fact to be a good basis for uniting the representatives of Armenian diaspora of these countries into an international organization. "I see the brilliant future of Armenia in some 50 years. And not only with words, but also with action we should prove that it is possible," - the chairman of the Union of Armenians of Russia said.
