Kosovo decision to be precedent for Transnistria

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Kosovo resolution will be a precedent for Transnistria, said Igor Smirnov the President of Transnistria.

Transnistria has more grounds to be recognized as a state, than Kosovo, according to him.

"The Transnistrian Moldavian Republic meets all standards of an independent state. The Transnistrian authorities will consistently put into practice the outcomes of the referendum held September 17, 2006, when the overwhelming majority voted for independence and integration with Russia," Mr Smirnov said, RBK reports.
