RA CC instructed prosecutor general's office to secure Ter-Petrosyan's presence at his appeal's hearing

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Constitutional Court proceeded to consideration of appeals of the February 19 presidential election results and instructed the prosecutor general's office to secure Ter-Petrosyan's presence at the hearing of his appeal.

The CC, which has pinned the suits brought by Tigran Karapetyan and Levon Ter-Petrosyan, rejected Levon Ter-Petrosyan's petition for withdrawal of troops from the territory adjacent to the CC.

As to publicity of the session, CC chairman Gagik Hatutyunyan said, "The session is supposed to be shot and broadcast by TV Channels. However, we can't oblige television to shoot the whole process," he said. "The audio of the session will be provided. Besides, the press office will deliver special statements."

Tigran Karapetyan's representative Arsen Ghazaryan said that international observers fixed serious violations, what offers ground to appeal the results, Novosti Armenia reports.
