Baku doesn't mind Iran's mediation in Karabakh process

PanARMENIAN.Net - Baku does not oppose Iran's mediation in settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.



"Given Iran's resources, official Tehran can contribute to the conflict settlement if it sends the right message to Armenia," said Khazar Ibrahim, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.



During a visit to Baku in mid-June, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Alireza Sheikh-Attar said Iran could join the talks on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict as a mediating party, Trend Azeri news agency reports.
