PACE President: those thinking that CoE prefers oil to democracy deeply mistaken

PanARMENIAN.Net - There are many countries in the world interested in Azerbaijan's energy resources but the Council of Europe prepares its reports despite economic interests, according to PACE President.



"Those thinking that the Council of Europe prefers oil to democracy are deeply mistaken," Lluis Maria de Puig said in Baku in an attempt to refute statements by some Azeri politicians that PACE resolutions serve the economic interests of Europe, 1news.az reports.
