Armenia-Russia economic cooperation level should be equaled to political

PanARMENIAN.Net - The level of Armenia-Russia economic cooperation should be equaled to political, the Armenian President said.

"Presently, Russian capital is invested in 1200 Armenian enterprises. Construction of a new NPP and a railroad is planned. I think, commodity turnover can reach $1 billion this year," Serzh Sargsyan told a news conference.

"The main task of the Russian authorities is to minimize the consequences of the global financial crisis. Dmitry Medvedev said, for his part. "The crisis has inflicted huge damages. We also suffered losses. Globalization and open economy did their work and now all are paying for the mistakes made by some countries, specifically the U.S. But I think we will find a way out."
