EU, Armenian stand on Karabakh conflict resolution coincide

PanARMENIAN.Net - The statements by Javier Solana, EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, accord with the position of Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, a diplomatic source told PanARMENIAN.Net

"The EU welcomes the Moscow declaration of November 2 and the Helsinki declaration of December 4, which confirm the sides' aspiration for a peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict," Mr Solana said Tuesday.

His words prove that the European Union and official Yerevan's positions on resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict coincide, the source said.
