NKR Defense Ministry: two men killed in skirmish

PanARMENIAN.Net - On January 26, at 5.30 p.m. local time, NKR resident Bad Tadevosyan, 26, made an attempt to approach Azeri positions near Aghdam.



Tadevosyan, who is reported to suffer from a mental disease, was drunk.



"Our servicemen could not stop him and the Azeri forces commenced fire. As result, Bad Tadevosyan and soldier Arkady Hakobian were killed. According to preliminary data, the Azeri side suffered losses as well," colonel lieutenant Senor Hasratyan, spokesman for NKR Defense Ministry department, told PanARMENIAN.Net



TrendNews Azeri agency reported Tuesday that several Armenian soldiers were killed and three were injured at the contact line of the Azeri and NKR armed forces. "On January 26, at 7 p.m., the Armenian armed forces made an attempt to seize the Azeri posts at the settlement of Javahirli, Aghdam region. An hour later, the enemy retreated, leaving killed and wounded," the report said.
