PanARMENIAN.Net - The Turkish General Staff plotted terror acts against initiators of the Armenian apology campaign, Istanbul-based Normarmara Armenian newspaper reports.

"If I hadn't been arrested on January 7, Armenian activists in Turkey would have been assaulted," said Ibrahim Shahin, former deputy chief of the Turkish special forces.

According to him, the grouping should have included 150-300 Turkish soldiers charged with the task to carry out ethnic cleansings throughout the country.

The black list included the initiators of the Armenian apology campaign, 850 members of pro-Kurdish party as well as Assyrians and Jews residing in Turkey.
