Bako Sahakyan met participants of football tournament among CIS journalistsMay 18, 2009 - 13:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic Bako Sahakyan received participants of football tournament among journalists of the CIS and Baltic countries taking place between May 14 and May 18 in Stepanakert.The President welcomed sports journalists and noted that football is among the most popular sports in Artsakh, where people always have special stance towards it. In this regard Bako Sahakyan expressed hope for continuous cooperation and organization of various tournaments in the republic in future. The guests expressed gratitude and satisfaction to the Head of State for warm reception as well as for a high level of organization of the tenth jubilee tournament among journalists. At the end of the meeting NKR President handed commemorative watches incrusted with national emblem and flag of the Nagorno Karabakh Rebublic to all participants.
