Iran is our alternative for resource supply

PanARMENIAN.Net - "All joint projects between Armenia and Iran are directed at the provision of security, both in military and economy spheres," Director of ESU Center for Cultures and Civilizations, David Hovhannesyan told at the discussion of "Perspectives of Armenian -Iranian relations".





"From the viewpoint of security provision Azerbaijan is playing a very important role. In blockade circumstances Iran is the only "road of life" to Armenia," the expert emphasized.





In his opinion the most important issue in the development of Armenian-Iranian relations is infrastructure development issue.







"Iran-Armenia gas line is an additional possibility for this. We mustn't forget about Iran-Armenia railway construction that would open many ways into the outer world for our country," David Hovhannesyan said, adding that today there's every possibility for Iran to become our primary resource supplier.
