EU leaders set to back Barruzo's bid for a new term

PanARMENIAN.Net - European Union leaders will back Jose Manuel Barroso's bid for a new term as European Commission President at a two-day summit starting on Thursday. "EU leaders are likely to endorse Barrozu's candidacy," EU official representative said. Sweden and Czech Republic will consult with Europarliament to achieve approval of Barrozu's candidacy.



During the summit on July 1, Barrozu is going to introduce the principal points of his program. In case of receiving EU leaders' approval, the program will be officially submitted to new EU Parliament's first session due on July 15.
