ARMENIANS RESIDING IN IRAN CONDEMNED ISRAEL'S ACTIONS AND EXPRESSED SOLIDARITY WITH PALESTINEApril 8, 2002 - 23:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenians residing in Iran, in particular those in Western Azerbaijan Iranian province, condemned the Israel's actions and expressed their solidarity with Palestine. At the demonstration held in Teheran they demanded stopping the aggression against Palestine. As reported by "Arminfo" agency making reference to "Teheran Times" newspaper, the Iranian Armenians welcomed official Teheran efforts to support Palestine. Thus they shared the opinion of the Iranian authorities, who had condemned the actions of Israel.![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
