Solidarity: We can't delay RA-Turkey Protocols conclusion

PanARMENIAN.Net - RA-Turkish relations should be viewed in geopolitical context, Solidarity Party Chairman Sargis Avetisyan told a news conference in Yerevan. "This is the first case when 3 superpowers are acting based on unified positions on RA-Turkish rapprochement issue," Avetisyan emphasized.

He also noted that Russian -Georgian war is the reason for Russia's active participation in ties' normalization. "Russia's active position is linked with Georgia. Russia wants to turn Armenia into a regional leader to harm Georgia," Avetisyan said, adding that RA-Turkey Protocols' conclusion can't be delayed, as with the lapse of time one of superpowers might alter its position. "As soon as change of power occurs in Georgia, RA-Turkey rapprochement issue will face problems after Tbilisi's once again becoming a "friend" to Moscow," Solidarity Chairman emphasized.
