Tigran Sargsyan: Armenia-India economic collaboration has great development potentialNovember 27, 2009 - 17:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met the newly-appointed Indian Ambassador to Armenia Achal Kumar Malhotra, governmental press service reported.Congratulating Achal Kumar Malhotra on his appointment, the Premier expressed hope that the ambassador's diplomatic activities will further strengthen friendly relations between Armenia and India. "I'm confident; Armenia-India economic and political collaboration has great development potential," Tigran Sargsyan concluded. In his turn, the ambassador gave high assessment to Armenian community's contribution to multicultural and multilingual Indian society. The parties discussed bilateral collaboration in the spheres of agriculture and science as well as anti-crisis activities and Armenian-Indian intergovernmental committee sitting scheduled. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
