Switzerland interested in normalization of Armenia-Turkey ties

PanARMENIAN.Net - Switzerland is interested in normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, the president of Swiss National Council, Ms. Pascale Bruderer Wyss stated.

“We’ll make our best efforts for normalisation process to continue,” she stressed at the meeting with Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan in Bern.

Dwelling on Karabakh issue, the parties emphasized the importance of the peaceful settlement of the conflict in the framework of OSCE MG.

Abrahamyan noted that Azerbaijan’s increased military statements, as well as ceasefire violations on the line on contact prevent any progress in conflict settlement talks.

The parties also discussed activation of economic relations, parliamentary press service reported.
