Serzh Sargsyan visits Armenian memorial in Astrakhan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan visited the Armenian memorial in the centre of Astrakhan, Russia.

The President laid flowers at the khachkar placed on the site of 18th century Armenian church destroyed in 1930s.

The memorial opening was timed to 290th anniversary of Armenian Apostolic Church eparchy foundation in Astrakhan, presidential press service reported.
