Bishop Ezras: any demonstration of nationalism is destructive to Russia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Bishop Ezras Nersesian, head of the Novo-Nakhichevan and Russian diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church condemned the nationalism in Russia, urging the Church to raise its voice in protest to the loss of spirituality among youth.

“Any demonstration of nationalism is destructive to Russia, which has an age-long experience of harmonious co-existence of representatives of multiple cultures and nations. Armenian and Russian people have had friendly relations both in years of peace and war. And the church, currently under construction in the Olympic prospect is a proof of friendship and respect between the two nations,” MK cited Nersesian as saying.
