RA President conveys invitation of Catholicos of All Armenians to Ieronymos II to visit ArmeniaJanuary 19, 2011 - 21:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who is on a state visit to Greece, met with Ieronymos II, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, to discuss the Armenian-Greek relations, the two people’s friendship and relations of the Armenian and Greek churches. The Armenian leader conveyed invitation of Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II to Ieronymos II to visit Armenia, saying that the visit will strengthen the friendship between the Armenian Apostolic Church and Greek Orthodox Church. As part of his state visit, the Armenian President met with President of the Hellenic Parliament Philippos Petsalnikos and Prime Minister of Greece Georgios Papandreou.
