Artsakh President praises Tax Service activity in 2010February 16, 2011 - 17:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 16, Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan met with Tax Service officials to discuss issues related to the activities carried out in 2010 and plans for the year 2011, with the head of NKR Tax Service Artak Balayan and other officials delivering reports. Mr Sahakyan said that the tax policy is not limited solely by the economic sphere and has direct relevance to social and political issues. In this context, Sahakyan stressed the importance of the activities carried out by the structure, giving high assessment to work implemented in 2010. As he noted further, activity and efficiency of the tax agencies are not determined solely by growth of the tax proceeds; rather, the long-term perspective should be considered, so that today's success would not lead to difficulties in future. In conclusion, the President gave specific instructions to officials as to the activities scheduled, Central Information Department at Artsakh President’s Office reported.
