Israel closes embassy in Georgia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Israeli embassy in Georgia has been closed. The embassy representatives said that the diplomatic mission has not operated for a week.

An embassy employee refrained from commenting on the reasons behind the closure, as well as terms of the embassy re-opening.

In some other countries Israeli diplomats work at home. It is not clear when the normal activity of the diplomatic missions will be resumed.

Israel calls on its citizens to refrain from traveling to Egypt, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Cote d'Ivoire, Mali, Mauritania and Venezuela because of possible Hezbollah attacks.
