Baku disallows school student from participating in South Caucasus youth parliament opening

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani side did not participate in the opening of the South Caucasus youth parliament. The event was opened by Georgian and Armenian Ministers of Education and Science, Dmitry Shashkin and Armen Ashotyan, as well as the EU ambassador to Georgia Philip Dimitrov.

The event focused on the discussion of EU project, Democracy Starts With You, aimed at increasing youth awareness of the essence of democracy.

The event hosted 40 school students from Georgia and Armenia, selected by their classmates based on the results on political discussions, Caucasus-Online reported.
