Baku's numberless weapons: shoot them or sell them?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan's active purchase of weapons aims to make Armenia realize Baku's determination to restore its “territorial integrity”, according to the head of Military Journalists union, Colonel-Lieutenant Uzeyir Jafarov.

In other words, Azerbaijan is attempting to intimidate Armenia with weapons, failing to consider that armament without experienced army is useless metal.

As Jafarov added, if Azerbaijan fails to start a new war, the armament could be advantageously sold to other countries. So, in one case or another, Azeri petrodollars will be put to use.

Probably, sniper training programs for Azerbaijani school kids serve the same purpose of intimidating Armenia.

However, Azerbaijan fails to consider that incessant military rhetoric may serve the counter purpose of enraging Armenia, instead of intimidating it.

Azerbaijan needs to reconcile itself to a thought that Karabakh won't be thrown to the wolves. The best solution would be to start selling away the weapon bought.
