CONSULATE GENERAL OF ARMENIA TO BE OPENED IN ST.PETERSBURG

PanARMENIAN.Net - 30.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Today the deputy foreign minister of Armenia Levon Mkrtchian is giving a state reception on the occasion of opening Armenian consulate general in St. Petersburg.

As Russian news agencies report, Levon Mkrtchian met with the Russian President's plenipotentiary in North-Western federal district Viktor Cherkesov on Monday, January 29. Armenian consul general Ruben Hakobian was introduced at the meeting.

Before being appointed Armenian consul general to St. Petersburg Ruben Hakobian represented "Dashnaktsutiun" party in the National Assembly of Armenia. --0--
