ARMENIAN AND RUSSIAN SPECIAL SERVICES REPRESENTATIVES DELIBERATING IN ROSTOV-ON-DONDecember 9, 2003 - 18:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The delegations of the Russian Federal Security Service and the Armenian National Security Service will hold meeting in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don today. As reported by RIA Novosti, the parties will discuss the issues of "perfection of the cooperation on combating the global terrorism and its financing, the interaction in the sphere of providing economic security of Armenia and Russia". The delegation will also touch upon the issues of enlarging the cooperation on personnel training. Within the framework of the summit the representatives of the Russian and Armenian special services are as well expected to sign four protocols for the Treaty on Cooperation and Interaction. FSS director Nikolay Patrushev will head the Russian delegation while Armenia's delegation will be headed by NSS director Karlos Petrosian.![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
