BBC LAUNCHED INTERNATIONAL CARTOON PROJECT WITH PARTICIPATION OF ARMENIAN ANIMATORS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The BBC has launched an international cartoon project, comprising 13 animation films, represented by the respective number of countries. Armenia is also invited to participate in the project and will present "The Shoemaker's Son" cartoon film, which is now being shot at Armenfilm film studio based on the tale of Armenian classics author Hovhannes Tumanian. As film director Robert Sahakiants told Arminfo agency, two thirds of the 12.5-minute film are ready. The animators bound themselves to finish the film in June 2004. Each of the participants of the project will be entitled to distribute the films within seven years, including in Armenia.
