Meanwhile, this index totals 5.6% in the Armenian banking system. The press service of Ameriabank reported that the volume of classified credits totals 0.76% in the joint balance with Cascade Bank. At the same time, corporate credits and loans total 87% of Ameriabank’s credit portfolio. The bank’s credit portfolio totaled AMD 61bln as of March 31, 2010 that is 14% and 87% higher as compared with the beginning of the year and same period of 2009 respectively. Besides, the bank’s credit portfolio totaled AMD 63bln as of the end of April 2010, and the bank’s assets totaled AMD 114bln that is 10% higher as compared with the beginning of the year.
