EU Advisory Group to continue assisting Armenia for signing free trade agreementJune 4, 2010 - 18:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Raul de Luzenberger, the RA government’s information center reported. “The EU consulting group will continue assisting Armenia in preparation works for signing a free trade agreement between the EU and Armenia,” Mr. de Luzenberger said. For his part, Head of the EU Advisory Group to Armenia, Mr. Rolf Boehnke referred to the cooperation process, dwelling on achievements and further steps. In addition, the parties discussed cooperation issues, including Armenia’s foreign debt management, overcoming of technical barriers of trade, as well as tasks in the customs problems. Besides, cooperation with the RA National Assembly for human rights protection was in the focus of the meeting. Importance was attached to the Advisory Group’s activity aimed at increasing public awareness of pension reforms.
