6% growth recorded in ice-cream production in Armenia in January-July 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - 6% growth was recorded in ice-cream production in Armenia in January-July 2010 as compared with the same period in 2009, totaling 2516thous. kg, the RA National Statistical Service reported.

Yogurt, fermented milk and sour cream production increased by 30.1% (172t), 5.3% (1547.1t) and 11.4% (1745.8t) respectively during the reporting period.

Meanwhile, 6.2% drop was recorded in milk production in January-July 2010 as compared with the same period in 2009, totaling 186.4mln liters.
