Mutton prices is Armenia still very high

PanARMENIAN.Net - The problems in livestock sector keep persisting, chairman of the Agrarian Peasant Union said.

“The authorities’ forecasts about reduction of prices for mutton have completely failed. Production of dairy and meat products decreased by 10-15%,” Hrachya Berberyan told a news conference on November 26.

“Another serious problem is the African plague, struggle against which proved ineffective over the past 3 years. Besides, the epidemic of bird flue has not been suppressed yet and there is a danger of infection at major poultry factories,” he said.
