248.5thous. tons of bread produced in Armenia in January-October 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - Bread production totaled 248.5thous. tons in Armenia in January-October, remaining unchanged as compared with the same period in 2009.

Flour production increased by 15.8%, amounting to 125.3thous. tons, while confectionery production amounted to 9,000t that is 14.6% higher compared to January-October 2009, the RA National Statistical Service reported.

Production of macaroni products increased by 1.2%, totaling 2.1thous t in January-October 2010. 78% growth was recorded in cereal production, bringing it to 382.8 tons during the same period.
