7.2% growth recorded in average monthly salary in ArmeniaDecember 20, 2010 - 16:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to updated statistical data, the average monthly salary totaled AMD 106,238 in Armenia in January-November 2010 that is 7.2% more as compared with the same period in 2009. As the RA National Statistical Service reported, 0.9% increase was observed in November compared to October 2010. Meanwhile, 4.1% and 7.5% growth was recorded in salaries of budgetary and private organizations, totaling AMD 85,576 and 134,486 respectively. The number of officially registered unemployed totaled 81,000 in January-November 2010 that is 2.4% less as compared with the same period in 2009. 1.3% drop was recorded in the monthly unemployment rate.
